Why We Started
The 4th Street Classic Tournament proudly invites 10 elite teams, ages 14–19, from Westchester County, the Lower Hudson Valley, and all five boroughs of New York City to compete in an exciting season of weekly basketball games, culminating in intense playoff and championship matchups.
Our event brings together **urban and suburban families, youth, and basketball fans of all ages—from 8 to 50—**for a celebration of community, competition, and culture.
In addition to the games, we’ll host exclusive basketball clinics led by NCAA and NBA coaches, providing invaluable skills and mentorship opportunities. Fans will also get the rare chance to meet legendary AND1 Streetball icons up close in unforgettable meet-and-greet experiences.

We created this grassroots city league program to empower and support our youth beyond the game. Through this initiative, we provide mentorship, counseling on drug and tobacco prevention, and guidance on continuing education. We also open doors to career pathways by raising awareness of internship and job opportunities in roles such as statisticians, photographers, coaches, referees, broadcasters, scorers, trainers, and more.
